All I want for Christmas is…
Well I wouldn’t say all exactly, as I have a tendency to want/need everything I see, but these are my top 20 interior Christmas buys for 2017:
This wasn’t meant to be in preference order but this neon Noel word from Next is definitely my top pick. It would look great in any room in the house. I’ll keep dreaming!
This large light up wall star could be used all year round and I love anything with fairy lights so has to be on my list.
A cheap way to decorate with these paper stars that come in several colours (well, black, white and grey) but I’m fine with that. Cluster several together over a table or in a corner of a room for a quick Christmas update.
I have a sheepskin rug that I use all year round and it works in absolutely every room, you can use to hang over rustic benches, decorate the back of a chair or sofa, as a blanket on the bed or even just as a rug (although I’m too scared I’ll ruin mine to have it on the floor!)
A Christmas drinks trolley for all those parties you’re planning on hosting
A scandi style wooden tree that looks great styled with candles on a mantelpiece or coffee table
I have several of these fairy lights already (but you can never have too many). They’re great for putting in vases, jars and in the fireplace to add that little twinkle
I realise there are several stars on this list but these rustic ones work whether it’s Christmas or not and are a simple way to style a wall or shelf
I seem to be drawn towards the paper decorations this year and these blush pink ones are an absolute bargain
This door mat is perfect all year round and something pretty to look at every time you walk through the door
Now I realise at first glance this work shelf may not look particularly festive but it would look gorgeous styled with eucalyptus, candles and lights in the hallway as a welcome to all your guests
If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know how obsessed I am with marble. I want my tree just to be decorated with these! Although I’m not sure it would cope with the weight
For all those extra guests over Christmas when you’ve run out of chairs. Stylish and doesn’t take up loads of room
I love a Scandi style Christmas and this porcelain reindeer would look amazing in a minimalist home
I have gone a little crazy recently with indoor festoon lights but these beauties would be so festive in the garden. Even if it’s too cold to go outside at the moment you can look at them out the window and use them all year
For the many of us who don’t have wood burning fires recreate that wintery smell with this soy candle
I have a small obsession with eucalyptus so this is right up my street as an alternative wreath. A really simple hanging decoration that you can use with different flowers throughout the year
For all your Christmas messages, drinks menu or even just your Christmas list (although you may need more than one!)
Not your typical Christmas decoration or bauble and that’s why I love them
Who wouldn’t want a personalised pom pom stocking for all of these presents?!
I’m just starting to make my home festive and am attempting to make a wreath this year so follow me on Instagram (www.instagram.com/editbyeleven) to see how I style my house.
